Contradictions

It is crazy all the contradictions that surround us every day, but this one really blows my mind whenever I see it. People wave at each other all the time for various reasons. Motorcyclists wave at one another when passing each other. They even have their own distinct style. Jeep owners have their wave. Even some Mini owners wave to each other. But girls/women/the female population, don't wave to one another but look each other up and down and size up the competition. I cringe when I see it. I try not to do it. It is such an ugly thing. I especially hate it when it happens between teenage girls. It breeds self-esteem issues.
